Five tales of horror as the name explicitly suggests is a collection of five horror stories by Chris Ward.
The stories in the collection are:

1)Room 666 3.5/5
The story is written in first person. A traveler has come to Bangkok and he wanted to  stay there only for a night. He arrives at a hotel and while examining the room he decides to stay at the room no 666. The rest you'll have o find out by reading the story.
I loved the story. It gripped me from the start. Although, i found the end little abrupt and forced and left me unsatisfied. I hope the author thinks about converting it into a novel or something.

2)Road Stop 3/5
Neal and Carrie are on a trip. They are in a middle of nowhere and when Carrie spots a road stop, she demands flower from  Neal. Little does she knows how costly her whim would prove out to be.
It was an okay read. The concept was great but the way antagonist  ended, seemed a little anticlimactic.

3)Forever my baby 3.5/5
Melanie and her husband encounter an old   shabby woman at the steps of a Waker and co. private maternity clinic. When she attempts to handle them a bundle of rags in a moment f disgust and panic t he narrator punches her square on the jaw and then they make a hasty retreat. What will be the consequences of this attack qnd what was the 'old hag' offering them. You'll have to find the answer by reading the story.
It was a great story and a very unique concept. It was sci-fi horror.

4)Blowin in up yer face 3.5/5
Travis is a post boy whom nobody ever  noticed. Then came Anna, he thought she was different, but was she.
A nice story with an amazing ending.

5)Lost in the woods 3/5
Dan and Stu were hiking on a trail when Stu faces an accident and gets hurt badly. Dan then goes to find help but will he get it??Read the story to find out.
It was a good story.  It held my interest.

Overall, the collection was great and i would recommend the book to people who like horror short stories. I loved it and hope you'll love it too.
