it show a day in the life of warrant Bosson and fleet oiler and thus show how important their work is.
The author has described in detail the life of the people in the ships during the war.But the book was not for me. Although i found some pretty good stories here like Dr Blanke's first command,USS Cornucopia and Rendezvous. In the beginning of the book i had thought about chucking it away, because i found the stories a little bit boring. Maybe it was me. Read it if you are interested in the lives of people in the navy but if you like books that are fast paced and with lots of action going on,you'll be disappointed
