She's determined that when she find him, she will make him sell this house. She has never been seen since then. The newspapers just claimed that she went missing. What would have happened to her?   The story will now unfold before the readers.

House Sweet house was a short gripping read. At 26 pages you can easily read it in a couple of minutes. I read it while riding an exercise bike in my gym. I love horror as a genre and it was a satisfying read for me. I liked the concept of bringing reader to the story by making him a witness to what's been happening. The reader is told that they are friend of the protagonist and are now piecing together what would have happened to her. This makes the reader more interested in the story. There were some good creepy moments that i really liked. The servants character adds a touch of mystery to the story and piques your interest as a reader. The ending of the story is something that i wouldn't want to think about while visiting my home.

There was one issue though. In the whole book author has used gender neutral words while addressing the reader, but in page 20 he divulges the gender of the reader. I think if this small thing could be rectified then it would be better for the story. Also, i wish there was more of Mussoorie but i know you can't expect that from a short story.

In the end, i would say it was an intriguing read for me and if you too like horror then you should check it out.

FTC Full disclosure: I got the book from the publisher in exchange of an honest review.
