I came across this book while browsing through free kindle books in Amazon.(Yes, i hoard free e-books from the site. :-P). John Grisham and non legal thriller written on the book were enough for me to download it. And since it was John Grisham so i started reading it soon.
And i found out that the book was nothing what i expected from it. John Grisham has written this book to promote an alternative way for treating tumours. The book is published by focused ultrasound foundation.
It describes a case of Paul who's diagnosed with a tumour. Paul is 35 years old. He has a wife and three kids. He gets diagnosed with Tumour and then the procedure begins. How the tumour gets treated? What happens to Paul and his family forms the story.
The book describes how the current treatment works and what difference the focused ultrasound therapy would bring in treating this disease.
The good thing is that they are not saying they'll cure the disease but that it would increase the quality of life. It's offers you a cheap and effective solution to treat this disease.
I think the book does what it intends to do. The name of John Grisham would increase it's readership dramatically.
You should read it. There are people suffering from the disease and if you know they have an option available, an option that's giving results, then the knowledge would help a lot.
The only thing that i didn't like about the book is that it advertises itself as a non-legal thriller. I think it could have clearly mentioned what this book was and people would have read it then too.
