The seventh scroll by Wilbur Smith is the second novel in the Egyptian series. It is an adventure novel set in the present time rather than in the time of Taita unlike the previous book in the series. I liked the book although I felt it was not upto par as The River God which I loved. There were times when I felt the book was dragging without any action happening which marred the pace of the book. In all it's a 3.5 star book.
