This Sunday i read the following two stories by Brandon Meyers. I thought they were a good and entertaining way to pass the time. Below is my review for them.

Sawdust spilled across the pristine marble table as donald pried the top off the bulky shipping crate.
Donald is a collector who likes to acquire antiques and he doesn't minds using sub-legal means for getting the possession of these artifacts. He has acquired a spirit house from Taiwan. What is the spirit house and how this new possession of Donald would affect his life? And why the seller seemed relieved to Donald after the sale of the house?? You'll have to read the short story for getting the answers.
Spirit house is in the collection Chasing the Sandman by the author Brandon Meyers. It was an okay read. I liked the premise and execution but it seemed too short. Overall a nice read for passing the time.

Mickey is out on a call for checking a loitering report. This is an ordinary call and he thinks probably it was some drunk that the lady had watched and had then called. But Mickey has no idea that he's going to face fear again, a fear from his past.
Dead Shift is a short story by Brandon Meyers from his short story collection Chasing the Sandman. This was a kindle freebie that i read. The story was an entertaining and thrilling. Read the story. I'm definitely going to look into his short story collection.
